The Alaska State Ferry M/V Tustumena scheduled to depart from Kodiak Wednesday night was canceled due to an electrical issue, the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities said in a press release. Ferry workers are working to resolve the issue in order to depart Friday morning. This cancellation will impact Homer, Seldovia and Port Lions. The Tustumena will not make its reguarly scheduled trip to Homer and Seldovia on Thursday.
