Following an investigation by the Alaska State Troopers, Anchor Point Post, Soldotna Alaska Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Enforcement and Alaska Bureau of Investigation, troopers at 12:32 p.m. arrested a 54-year-old Ninilchik man on four counts of fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, a 31-year-old Ninilchik man on four counts of fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and a 48-year-old Ninilchik man on eight counts of fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. Troopers served a search warrant on a Marion Street home in Ninilchik and seized 232 marijuana plants and 27 harvested marijuana plants. They also served a warrant at a Pioneer Street home in Ninilchik and seized 235 marijuana plants. The estimated street value was more than $150,000.

Alaska Bureau of Highway Patrol Troopers at 7:01 p.m. stopped a 37-year-old Ninilchik man driving near Kingsly Road and the Sterling Highway in Ninilchik for failure to use a turn signal. Troopers allege the man had marijuana in his car and cited him for sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, marijuana.
