Jan. 24

A man at 8:17 a.m. reported hearing three gunshots in the Hazel Avenue area.

A woman at 10:35 a.m. reported her 16-year-old daughter is living unsupervised in the Homer area.

A man at 4:26 p.m. reported his girlfriend attacked him while he held his child at an East End Road address. Police responded but the woman and child were gone when they arrived.

An off-duty officer at 2:16 p.m. saw a man driving he knew did not have a license on the Sterling Highway. Police issued a summons to a 31-year-old man for driving without a valid operators license.

A property owner at 6 p.m. asked that a man be issued a trespass notice from a Klondike Avenue address. Police advised the man of the notice.

Jan. 25

A caller at 10:34 a.m. reported a man known to have a warrant out of Anchorage who was in the Homer area and in possession of a firearm.

A man at 1 p.m. reported his car was not where he left it. Police located the car at the impound yard.

A man at 8:15 p.m. reported receiving threatening messages.

Jan. 26

A caller at 4:26 a.m. reported a drunk man in an area closed to drinking on Pioneer Avenue. Police arrested a 57-year-old man for criminal trespass.

A caller at 5:20 a.m. reported the Anchorage Daily News vending machine was missing from the post office parking lot. Police responded and determined all the newspaper boxes had been removed from the post office.

A person at 11:11 a.m. made a 911 call of a driver in a black Chevrolet pickup truck passing unsafely and speeding near Mile 3 East End Road. Police could not find the suspect vehicle.

A caller at 1:45 p.m. reported a dispute over ownership of items.

A caller at 8:53 p.m. reported finding a suspicious letter.

Jan. 27

Police at 8:17 a.m. responded to a 911 request for help with a person having suicidal thoughts.

A caller at 10:16 a.m. reported feeling unsafe due to the actions of the person's landlady.

A man at 1 p.m. reported a stolen generator.

A caller at 1:07 p.m. reported a person driving a Ford pickup truck in the critical habitat area near Alaska Islands and Ocean Visitor Center. Police contacted the driver, a 55-year-old man, and cited him for driving in a prohibited area and not having proof of insurance.

Police at 1:57 p.m. issued a summons to a 45-year-old man for not having liability insurance.

A woman at 3:15 p.m. reported fraudulent use of her ATM card.

A woman at 5:44 p.m. reported finding a dog on Bishop's Beach.

Jan. 28

A man at 3:20 a.m. reported his backpack was stolen out of his car while parked on Pioneer Avenue.

Jan. 29

A person at 3:22 p.m. reported a person threatened her at a Main Street apartment complex.

A caller at 8:37 p.m. reported a disturbance at a Pioneer Avenue business.

Jan. 30

A man at 11:02 a.m. made a 911 call that he was arguing with his ex-wife over child visitation. Police determined the incident did not rise to the level of a crime and advised the people of other options.

Police at 6:08 p.m. issued a summons to a 52-year-old woman for failure to provide proof of insurance.

Two people at 11:12 p.m. reported a person being loud on Svedlund Street. Police responded and determined the person's radio was not being too loud.
