Registration is being held for these upcoming classes: Digital Camera Workshop, taught by Taz Tally, starting Feb. 2; Kundalini Yoga, taught by Anna Raupp, starting Feb. 4; Biology of Sharks, starting Feb. 5; Film Studies, taught by Michael Walsh, starting Feb. 6, and Alaska Winter Survival, taught by Libby Bushell Veasey, starting Feb. 6. The Kachemak Bay Campus Advisory Board meeting is at 5 p.m. Feb. 6 at the college.

Registration has started for the 2013 Kachemak Bay Writers Conference, to be held June 14-18 at Land s End Resort. Poet Naomi Shihab Nye is the keynote presenter. The early registration fee is $375, space available, with a special student rate.

The conference features 17 other award-winning, nationally recognized authors, editors and agents who will conduct creative writing workshops, readings, craft talks and panel presentations.
