Homer Alaska - Letters

On behalf of the Kachemak Nordic Ski Club and Cross Country Alaska, I would like to personally thank the more than 65 volunteers who helped organize and officiate the recent Besh Cups ski races held at the Lookout Mountain Recreation Area.

The events were a resounding success, showcasing our local ski area to more than 250 statewide visitors and bringing some of the best ski racing talent in the country to Homer.

I also would like to thank the local businesses that provided support to this event: Two Sisters Bakery, Captain's Coffee, Fritz Creek General Store, Wagon Wheel and Nomad Shelters.
