Jan. 15

A man at 10:12 a.m. reported a hit-and-run accident at a Ben Walters Lane parking lot.

A man at 12:34 p.m. reported a road rage incident on Ocean Drive.

A person at 5:54 p.m. made a 911 call of a fire on Tundra Rose Avenue. Police determined people were burning trash.

A caller at 6:45 p.m. reported a possible restraining order violation.

A person a 8:40 p.m. made a 911 call of a car crash on East End Road. Police responded and called a charity to salvage a moose killed in the crash.

Jan. 16

A caller a 12:24 a.m. reported a possible theft and problems with tenants at a Sterling Highway home.

A caller at 12:45 a.m. reported a driver in a car speeding on Bayview Avenue who crashed into a snow bank. Police responded.

A caller at 8:08 a.m. reported a man driving a snowmachine on Fairview Avenue who went into the Homer High School parking lot. Police couldn't find the snowmachiner.

A person at 8:30 a.m. reported a violation of a long-term protective order and a burglary. Police contacted the suspect.

A call at 9:18 a.m. reported a theft from an unlocked car on Shannon Lane.

A person at 9:30 a.m. reported a woman had a large amount of marijuana at her Fairview Avenue home. Police got a search warrant and after searching the woman's home arrested and charged the 53-year-old woman with two counts of fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.

A caller at 11:10 a.m. reported a hit-and-run accident at a Sterling Highway parking lot.

A woman at 11:30 a.m. reported the theft of a pickup truck bed cover from her truck the night before.

A woman at 11:35 a.m. made a 911 call with a "report every dangerous driver immediately" complaint of a person driving off the Homer Spit. Police contacted the suspect driver and determined alcohol was not involved.

Police at 12:40 p.m. assisted a man with identity matters.

An employee at 2:05 p.m. reported a man causing a disturbance at a Sterling Highway store who would not leave. Police responded.

A man at 12:30 p.m. reported a bald eagle tangled in overhead lines on Ocean Drive Loop. Police notified the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

A man at 4:21 p.m. reported a car wasn't delivered to a lower 48 address as a contract with the shipper stipulated. Police advised the man of his options.

A caller at 9 a.m. reported a man entered a Fairview Avenue home without permission.

A caller at 5:30 p.m. reported a man made disturbing statements at a Main Street store and would not leave. Police responded. The man had left the area.

A caller at 11:40 p.m. made a 911 call reporting an assault at a Ben Walters Lane address. Police responded.

Jan. 17

A woman at 10:59 a.m. requested options regarding a domestic living situation.

A caller at 2:05 p.m. reported a man who frequents a Main Street store appears to be unstable.

A caller at 9:23 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a woman late from doing errands. Police contacted the woman and found all was OK.

Jan. 18

A man at 1:23 a.m. turned himself in at the police station on a warrant.

A woman at 10:47 a.m. reported losing her purse in the East Hill Road and Skyline Drive area.

A woman at 3:30 p.m. reported threats.

A woman at 4:53 p.m. reported losing a large amount of cash.

Jan. 19

Police at 12:01 a.m. contacted a 28-year-old man driving on Rochelle Road and arrested him for driving under the influence and marijuana possession.

A woman at 10:23 a.m. reported her car parked on E Street had a door pried open.

A man at 11:56 a.m. reported a broken water pipe in the Towne Heights Lane area.

A man at 2 p.m. reported receiving harassing communications.

A caller at 2:29 p.m. asked police to issue a trespass notice to a man from a Sterling Highway business.

A woman at 2:30 p.m. asked for information on local shelters.

A woman at 11:56 p.m. reported a verbal domestic dispute at a Rochelle Road home. The subject agreed to leave the home for the night.

Jan. 20

Police at 1:28 a.m. contacted a drunk pedestrian on Pioneer Avenue and gave the person a ride home.

A woman at 4:45 p.m. reported finding a dead eagle in the Ocean Drive Loop area. Police contacted U.S. Fish and Wildlife.
