Jan. 6

A woman at 9:16 a.m. reported a driver in a red Toyota pickup truck passing on the right and driving on the sidewalk on East End Road. The suspect was gone on arrival when police arrived.

Police at 2:10 p.m. assisted a probation officer with investigating a woman suspected to be in violation of probation. Police later saw the woman at a bar.

A caller at 6:32 p.m. made a 911 call reporting a woman screaming from a car on Kachemak Drive.

Jan. 7

A man at 3:01 a.m. reported a woman making a disturbance at South Peninsula Hospital. The caller said the woman left on foot and wasn't dressed for the weather. Police located the woman in care of her sister.

A woman at 9:34 a.m. reported a co-worker assaulted her.

A woman at 6:12 p.m. reported her son's medicine was stolen.

Alaska State Troopers at 10:12 p.m. asked police to put down an injured moose on Skyline Drive.

Jan. 8

A woman at 3:15 a.m. reported a man walking along the Sterling Highway near Mile 172 who wasn't dressed for the weather.

Police at 10:50 a.m. cited a man on the Homer Spit for feeding eagles.

Police at 12:18 p.m. issued a summons to a 19-year-old man for sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.

A man at 1:30 p.m. reported fraudulent checks made on his bank account.

Police at 9:59 p.m. took a man into protective custody at the jail.

Jan. 9

Police at 1:02 p.m. investigated a report of ice skaters at the harbor. Police contacted adult skaters who refused to leave the ice.

A woman at 1:24 p.m. reported a violation of a stalking order.

A caller at 9:46 p.m. reported being assaulted at a Kachemak Drive home. Police went to the home and arrested a 22-year-old woman for assault and driving under the influence.

Jan. 10

Police at 1:29 a.m. stopped a 20-year-old man on Lakeshore Drive after he drove a four-wheeler on Beluga Lake. Police arrested the man for driving under the influence, refusal to submit to a chemical test and minor consuming alcohol.

Police at 3:18 a.m. contacted a 24-year-old man from out of state driving near Mile 3 East End Road and arrested him for driving with a suspended license.

A woman at 1:15 p.m. reported her husband had been missing since Jan. 8. She called later and said she'd heard her husband was OK and had been delayed in his return.

A caller at 3:52 p.m. reported an injured moose at Alaska Islands and Ocean Visitor Center who kept people from leaving. The moose was gone when police arrived.

Jan. 11

A medic at 1:25 a.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a boy who refused treatment. Police went to an East End Road home. At 3 a.m. a man reported the boy's condition was not improving. EMTs and police responded.

A man at 5:25 p.m. reported his grandson got out of the hospital earlier that day and had run away.

A woman at 4:20 a.m. made a 911 call of excessive noise coming from a Mattox Road home. Police responded and warned a man for disorderly conduct. They took a juvenile home.

Jan. 12

A woman at 9:18 a.m. reported a man left a Greatland Street office very angry and making hostile gestures after he was refused medication.

A man at 7:15 p.m. reported a gun was stolen from his East End Road home. Police arrested a boy for theft and weapons misconduct. The boy was taken to the Kenai Youth Detention Facility.
