Floods spawned by the eruption of Mount Redoubt continue to pose a threat to the Drift River oil storage terminal as long as the volcano remains active, according to a U.S. Geological Survey report sent to Gov. Steve Cowper Friday. Cook Inlet Pipeline Company began unloading 38 million gallons of crude oil from the terminal into tankers late last week and expects to finish the job by this weekend.
