Starting this month, board meetings of Homer Electric Association and the Alaska Electric and Energy Cooperative will be in the Homer office because of renovation happening at the Kenai HEA office. The 30-year old building is being remodeled to make better use of space and improve traffic flow, according to HEA. Board meetings are scheduled to be in Homer through August. Meetings generally begin at noon on the second Tuesday of every month. Visit the HEA website at www.homerelectric.com for updated board meeting information and times.
