R.E.C. Room

The R.E.C. Room (Resource and Enrichment Co-op) is a multipurpose space designed specifically for youth. It's open for youth ages 12-18 as a safe environment to hang out with friends, meet peers, arrange meetings or special events, and get information on youth services and resources available in the Homer area. It is located in the lower level of the Kachemak Bay Family Planning Clinic outreach building on Nielsen Circle, just off of Ben Walters Lane. It's a quick walk or drive from the high schools and Homer Middle School students can arrange to be dropped off by bus. Hours are 3-6 p.m. Tuesday-Friday. Check out www.recroom.kbfpc.org or call Anna at 235-OPEN (6736). This space is also available for rent outside of regular operating hours.

All youth ages 12-18 are welcomed and encouraged to come hang out, play air hockey, Wii on the big screen, use wifi, two computers, eat free snacks, play guitar, watch movies, listen to music, hang out with friends and attend upcoming events or activities.
