Kenai Peninsula Borough SChool District

Oct. 23: KPBSD College Fair and Financial Aid Night. Talk to representatives from more than 50 colleges; learn about financial aid, scholarships and more; Soldotna Sports Center. Volunteer opportunity: The lunchroom is in need of more volunteers to help serve lunch during both lunch periods. Call Frankie for more information, 226-1801.

Today: Deadline to submit applications for special needs preschool peer model program. The program provides opportunities for children with special needs to interact with same-aged children in a small group, preschool setting focusing on learning preschool skills, social/play skills and communication with the guidance of a certified teacher. Applications available at main office.
