A woman at 10:32 p.m. reported items were missing from her paid for, reserved campsite at Karen Hornaday Park and someone had taken the spot. Police responded.

A caller at 12:40 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on an employee. Police went to the employee’s last known address and found the person no longer lived there.
A man at 2:12 p.m. reported a drunk man left the Spit in a car, parked the car, then got a ride in another car. The man also reported civil problems with the man.
A caller at 3:54 p.m. called police asking for information regarding compliance with a city ordinance.
Police at 11:39 p.m. stopped an 18-year-old man driving on the Sterling Highway and cited him for driving in violation of a driving permit.
Police at 6:01 a.m. contacted mariners unable to launch a boat at the load-launch ramp. Police helped them get the boat in the water.
A woman at 8:46 a.m. reported someone stole her patio table and chairs from her Bartlett Street yard. The woman called the next day to say she found the missing furniture on a path near her home.

A man at noon turned in eyeglasses found at Bishop’s Beach.

Police at 4:09 p.m. contacted a 46-year-old man driving near Mile 1 East End Road and issued him a summons for driving while license revoked.

Alaska State Troopers at 12:18 a.m. advised police to be on the lookout for a dangerous driver. Police contacted the suspect on Greatland Street and arrested a 25-year-old man for DUI and driving while license suspended.
Police at 2:11 a.m. contacted a driver near Mile 1 East End Road who was a provisional driver driving outside of limitations. Police contacted the person’s parents who agree to come pick up the driver and car.
Several callers at 10:15 a.m. reported being concerned about a sea otter on the Spit beach. Police responded but could not find the otter. Witnesses said the otter made it safely back into the water.
A man at 10:51 a.m. flagged down an officer on the Spit and reported a car crash with damage. The man said the other driver left the scene.
A caller at 11:40 a.m. reported being concerned about a dog in a car with windows rolled up on the Spit. Police could not find the dog and car.
A man at 3:03 p.m. reported his medical marijuana grow card would expire on June 30 and wouldn’t have a replacement card for a while. He said he wanted to know if he would have an illegal grow operation.
A woman at 4:55 p.m. made a 911 call of a hit-and-run car crash at Landings Street. Police responded.
A caller at 5:25 p.m. reported a drunk man passed out in a restroom at a Sterling Highway address. Police and medics responded.
A caller at 9:12 p.m. reported seeing an eagle tangled in a kite string on the Spit. The eagle did not seem to have trouble flying. Police notified the appropriate agency.
