Court records show the following actions taken in Homer District Court through April 29:

 

Judgments

Anastasia Leach, 23, charge dismissed, fourth-degree assault.

Nina Gunnell, 38, charge dismissed, third-degree theft.

Chris McKenna, 50, charge dismissed, fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.

George Cook, 34, charge dismissed, failure to register as a sex offender.

Anna C. Torzillo, 29, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. She was fined $3,000 with $1,500 suspended and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $330 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had her driver’s license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for one year.

Raymond A. Aranda, 22, pleaded guilty to interfering with a domestic-violence report. Imposition of sentence was suspended subject to the condition that he attend an alcohol safety action program, perform 40 hours of community work service and pay restitution in an amount to be determined. He was placed on probation for one year.

Russell R. Crocker, 24, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of third-degree theft. Imposition of sentence was suspended subject to the condition that he get a mental-health evaluation and perform 40 hours of community work service. He was placed on probation for one year.

Lane T. Sanders, 27, pleaded guilty to indecent viewing. He was fined $3,000 with $3,000 suspended and sentenced to 360 days in jail with 330 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; destroy all photos and electronic images taken of his victim and not have contact with her; and was placed on probation for two years. He also pleaded guilty to providing false information and was fined $500 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 40 days in jail with 35 days suspended and ordered to perform 40 hours of community work service.

Andres A. Jauregui, 36, pleaded guilty to attempted fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 suspended and sentenced to 320 days in jail with 300 days suspended and ordered to perform 160 hours of community work service; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $100 probation surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and ordered to forfeit all items seized; and was placed on probation for three years.

Michael E. Kirsch, 38, Port Graham, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was fined $4,000 with $1,000 suspended and sentenced to 120 days in jail with 100 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $1,467 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his driver’s license revoked for one year; and was placed on probation for three years.

Anna B. Doner-Pond, 41, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-degree harassment. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; and was placed on probation for one year.

Ross A. Poindexter, 24, pleaded guilty at his arraignment to fourth-degree assault, domestic violence. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 80 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund; ordered to apply for an Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend and pay restitution; ordered to provide a DNA sample on request and attend an alcohol safety action program; ordered not to contact his victim and not to be within 500 feet of her home; and was placed on probation for two years. He also pleaded guilty to first-degree criminal trespassing, domestic violence, and was sentenced to 40 days in jail with 30 days suspended.

Cynthia M. Shearer, 26, pleaded guilty at her arraignment to driving under the influence. She was fined $2,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $330 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had her driver’s license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for one year.

Criminal Court

Kurt L. Falke, 51, second-degree burglary.

Steven R. Reichel, 23, fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, heroin.

Alan T. Blatchford, 67, second-degree indecent exposure.

Eric L. Gordon, 44, third-degree assault, domestic violence.

Alisa M. Delisle, 55, Anchor Point, driving under the influence, refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Dioncio Chuprov, 36, Anchor Point, failure to seal moose antlers.

James A. Fahle, 51, fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, methamphetamine. 

Dale M. Besancon, 53, Ninilchik, fourth-degree assault.

James A. Brown, 45, DUI, refusal to submit to a chemical test.
