March 3

A man at 7:18 a.m. reported finding a camera.

A caller at 3:21 p.m. reported an assault at a Fairview Avenue address.

A woman at 5:20 p.m. reported hearing a loud noise and possibly gunshots in the Rogers Loop area.

A caller at 6:24 p.m. asked for options regarding a drunk man at a Rainbow Court home. Police responded and took a 45-year-old man to South Peninsula Hospital and later into protective custody.

March 4

A caller at 3:54 a.m. reported a loud beeping noise coming from a Herndon Avenue apartment and asked police to do a welfare check on the resident. Police responded and found all was OK.

Police at 2:44 p.m. contacted two individuals on a previous issue. Police arrested a 24-year-old man on an outstanding warrant.

A man at 2:55 p.m. reported a theft from the harbor.

A man at 3:37 p.m. reported loose horses running up and down Baycrest Hill on the Sterling Highway. Police responded and corralled and secured the horses.

A caller at 4 p.m. reported a man hanging out in the police station parking lot and acting suspiciously. Police took a 45-year-old man into protective custody.

A caller at 4:22 p.m. reported theft of fuel from a Spit Road address.

A woman at 7:33 p.m. made a 911 call of a domestic dispute at a Mattox Road address. Police responded and separated the parties for the night. The man was issued a trespass notice.

March 5

A caller at 2:01 a.m. reported a disturbance on Pioneer Avenue. Police responded and arrested two men, ages 26 and 28, for disorderly conduct.

A man at 9:07 a.m. reported glass on the Homer Spit beach.

A caller at 4:44 p.m. reported a person not wanting to pay for services. Police took a 61-year-old man into protective custody and charged him with criminal trespass.

A caller at 7:07 p.m. reported possible drug information.

March 6

A caller at 9:16 a.m. reported a person causing a disturbance at a Ben Walters Lane address.

Alaska State Troopers at 11:26 a.m. made a REDDI or “report every dangerous driver immediately” complaint of a person driving south toward Homer near Mile 166 Sterling Highway.

A man at 3:17 p.m. reported a bicycle stolen from a Lee Drive address.

Police at 7:17 p.m. assisted troopers with a missing juvenile.

A caller at 7:43 p.m. made a REDDI complaint. Police found the suspect car in an East End Road parking lot and unoccupied.

A caller at 10:53 p.m. reported being pushed down stairs at a Pioneer Avenue address. Police responded and issued a trespass notice.

A woman at 11:43 p.m. made a noise complaint at a Linda Court address. Police responded and found all was OK.

March 7

A woman at 12:15 p.m. reported juveniles running in the road on Mountain View Drive and causing a disturbance. Police responded and found all was OK.

A man at 1:20 p.m. reported a car had been vandalized on Ohlson Lane.

Several callers at 3:18 p.m. made a REDDI complaint of a driver on Lake Street. Police could not find the driver.

A caller at 4:40 p.m. reported juveniles in an abandoned building on Lake Street. Police could not find the suspects.

Police at 11:21 p.m. did a security check of a Pioneer Avenue bar and arrested a 22-year-old woman for being drunk on licensed premises.

March 8

Police at 2:33 a.m. contacted a drunk person walking on Skyline Drive and provided transportation.

Police at 3:45 a.m. made a traffic stop on a person driving on Main Street and issued a warning for driving under the influence, drugs. Four juveniles were transported home.

Police at 9:07 a.m. warned a person for distracted driving on Pioneer Avenue.

A man at 2:50 p.m. reported a hit-and-run crash in a Sterling Highway parking lot.

A man at 5:07 p.m. reported a verbal disturbance at a Bunnell Avenue address. Police separated the parties for the night.

Police at 9:28 p.m. contacted a 45-year-old man driving on Svedlund Street and issued him a summons for not having vehicle insurance.

Police at 10:25 p.m. assisted troopers and Kachemak Emergency Services in finding a fire in the Sandford Court area.

March 9

Police at 12:30 a.m. issued a warning to a person for DUI. 

A woman at 4:44 p.m. reported a drunk man at a Beluga Place home. The man left at the homeowner’s request.

A man at 7:19 p.m. made a 911 call for assistance but was being uncooperative. Police and troopers assisted EMTs in responding to the Svedlund Street address. The man was taken to the hospital.

A man at 9:10 p.m. reported a drunk man threatened him and asked that he be removed from a Bunnell Avenue address. Police responded and separated the parties.

Police at 9:44 p.m. did a security patrol of Bishop’s Beach and put out an unattended campfire.

A caller at 10:14 p.m. reported a drunk man at a Bunnell Avenue address made threats. Police arrested a 44-year-old man for criminal trespassing.
