Feb. 10

A woman at 10:30 a.m. reported identity theft.

A caller at 11 a.m. reported a broken window at a Heath Street business.

A caller at 11:30 a.m. reported an expected death at home of a 63-year-old man.

A man at 11:45 a.m. reported harassment.

A caller at 1:20 p.m. asked for assistance in getting personal belongings from a Fairview Avenue home.

A caller at 1:35 p.m. asked police for options in retrieving personal property.

A person at 1:45 p.m. made a 911 call reporting a trespassed person was at Lake Street business. Police responded and the person left at the request of the business.

Callers at 2 p.m. reported their daughter was drunk and left their East End Road home.

A man at 1 p.m. reporting missing property.

A woman at 4:08 p.m. came to the police station for help with an ongoing situation regarding a temporary restraining order.

A caller at 4:30 p.m. reported a tree from a neighboring property had fallen on her yard at a Sterling Highway address.

A caller at 4:30 p.m. reported a suspicious person doing a survey at a Kachemak Drive address.

A caller at 6:41 p.m. reported a man trespassed from a Sterling Highway business had returned.

Feb. 11

A caller at 9:30 a.m. reported a theft from a vehicle on the Sterling Highway.

A man at 4:42 p.m. reported a suspicious phone call from a person asking for information.

A person at 6:31 p.m. made a 911 call of a structure fire on Crittenden Drive near the bluff. Police and firefighters responded and determined it was a nonpermitted burn. The people operating the fire were told of the proper procedures to get permits and notify the fire department when burning.

A caller at 4:52 p.m. reported a dispute at an Ocean Drive Loop address and asked police to issue a trespass notice to people from a business.

An off-duty police officer at 10:04 p.m. reported a driver spinning brodies at a Fairview Avenue address. Police warned the driver to quit.

Feb. 12

A man at 11:22 a.m. reported children lwere eft with him at a Mattox Road address. He said there was no agreement with another person and that there might be drug use involved. Police advised the man to contact the Office of Children’s Services.

Police at 5:58 p.m. attempted to contact a person on an outstanding warrant but could not locate the suspect.

A woman at 9:23 p.m. reported a juvenile had run off.

Police at 9:41 p.m. made a traffic stop of a driver on the Sterling Highway. Police issued a summons to a 39-year-old man for driving while license suspended.

A woman at 10:56 p.m. said she was drunk and asked police to do a welfare check on her at her Skyline Drive home. Police responded and found all was OK.

Feb. 13

A caller at 12:22 a.m. reported an assault on the Spit. Police responded and arrested a 25-year-old man for third-degree assault.

A caller at 11:50 a.m. reported a stolen car and then called back to say the car wasn’t stolen after all.

A man at 5:41 p.m. reported a dog tied to car and unattended on Pioneer Avenue. The animal control officer responded.

A caller at 8:39 p.m. reported a man yelling obscenities at passing cars and making gestures on East End Road. Police responded but did not see anything.

Feb. 14

Police at 8:57 a.m. received a 911 phone call and could hear a woman crying. Police went to the East End Road address, contacted the woman and confirmed she was safe.

Several callers at 4:20 p.m. reported a man apparently drunk and stumbling into the road on Ocean Drive during a snowstorm. Police responded and took a 25-year-old man into protective custody.

A caller at 5:17 p.m. reported a drunk woman in the road on Pioneer Avenue who was yelling and screaming. The woman was gone when police arrived.

A person at 9:05 p.m. made a 911 call of a man and woman walking in the roadway on Ocean Drive. The man asked the person to call police for them. The caller thought it might be a domestic dispute. Police responded and separated the parties for the evening.

A man at 7:30 p.m. reported his ex-wife harassed him. The caller wasn’t in the city limits and police advised him to call the Alaska State Troopers.

Feb. 15

A caller at 1:03 a.m. reported a man yelling obscenities in the Mattox Street area. Police responded and got a drunk man a ride home.

Police at 1:37 a.m. contacted a 25-year-old man driving on Heath Street and arrested him for driving under the influence.

A hospital employee at 2:26 a.m. reported a confused and combative patient wanted to leave South Peninsula Hospital against medical advice.

A hospital employee at 8:45 a.m. reported a patient wanted to leave South Peninsula Hospital against medical advice.

Police at 10:26 p.m. issued a long-term protective order against a person.

Feb. 16

A woman at 12:16 a.m. reported her domestic partner threatened her at her Skyline Drive home. Police responded and arrested a 51-year-old man for fourth-degree assault.

Police at 12:30 a.m. contacted several people at a Pioneer Avenue parking lot. Police arrested a 19-year-old man on an outstanding warrant.

Feb. 17

Police at 1:28 a.m. contacted people in the road on Pioneer Avenue and gave them a ride home.

A caller at 12:40 p.m. reported losing a passport.

A caller at 3:05 p.m. reported information regarding drugs.

A person at 4:13 p.m. contacted an officer regarding a trespass issue.

A person at 4:45 p.m. made a 911 call of a car crash with damage only on Lake Street.
