A woman at 9:27 a.m. reported an altercation with her son at a Fairview Avenue address. Police responded.
A caller at 10:38 a.m. reported a man down in the ditch on Waddell Way. Police and EMTs responded. The man was taken to South Peninsula Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police did not suspect foul play.
A woman at 11:30 a.m. reported the theft of a ring.
Police at 8:15 p.m. did a search of a Subaru at an East End Road address as part of a drug investigation.
A man at 5:15 p.m. reported people running on Bunnell Avenue without reflective gear caused a traffic hazard.
Police at 11:39 p.m. arrested a 67-year-old man for second-degree criminal trespass at an Ohlson Lane address.
A man at 1:02 a.m. made a 911 call that people were inside a Little Fireweed Lane home. Police responded and determined the call was unfounded.
A caller at 8:50 a.m. reported a car had been tampered with on Bunnell Avenue.
A caller at 12:30 p.m. reported an attempted burglary at an Ocean Drive business.
A caller at 12:54 p.m. reported a person entering a Sterling Highway government building with a firearm. Police advised the person of options.
A caller at 12:57 p.m. reported a disturbance at a Ben Walters Lane address. Police issued a trespass notice to a person.
A woman at 2:11 p.m. reported a possible restraining-order violation.
A man at 3 p.m. reported people were inside a Little Fireweed Lane home. Police responded and determined the call was unfounded.
A man at 3:16 p.m. reported being threatened at a Sterling Highway business.
Police at 3:02 p.m. provided stand by in a civil matter at a Landings Street address.

A man at 7:30 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a man who was missing. The man was later found.
Police at 8:43 p.m. contacted a 50-year-old man driving on Aurora Court near Mattox Road and arrested him for driving under the influence.

A caller at 2:18 p.m. reported a car was vandalized on Ocean Drive.
A caller at 3:56 p.m. reported a car running with small children inside and no adult present at a Sterling Highway address. Police responded and helped a motorist.
A caller at 4:45 p.m. reported a suspicious person at an Ocean Drive Loop business.
A man at 5:43 p.m. reported a 4-wheeler in the middle of the Sterling Highway near Main Street. Police responded and got the road cleared.
A caller at 6:15 p.m. reported a large plastic tub in the middle of Lake Street.
A man at 6:14 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on an East End Road neighbor because of alarms going on. Police responded and determined it was a false alarm.
Police at 9:18 p.m. heard an alarm at an Ocean Drive address and saw evidence of an attempted break-in.
A woman at 6:43 a.m. reported she hit a dog with her car on the Sterling Highway. Police notified the animal control officer.
Police at 10:50 a.m. found suspicious items at an Ocean Drive Loop address.
Police at 3:03 a.m. contacted a man on Fairview Avenue and arrested him on a probation violation and for fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and second- and third-degree misconduct involving weapons.
A woman at 7:47 a.m. reported the back window of a Main Street business had been smashed in. Police responded.
A caller at 11:05 a.m. asked police to check on a tent at a campground on the Spit. Police responded and found the tent was unoccupied.
A woman at 2:40 p.m. reported credit-card fraud involving an online purchase from out of state.
A woman at 4:18 p.m. requested the assistance of the on-call Office of Children’s Services worker to a Forest Glen Drive address.
A man at 2:22 p.m. reported a Chevrolet Tahoe car had broken through the ice on Beluga Lake near Mattox Road. Police and fire rescue responded but did not find anyone in the vehicle.
Police at 12:04 a.m. contacted people skiing behind a car in a Fairview Avenue parking lot.
A 46-year-old man at 4:28 a.m. reported a dog missing from a Pioneer Avenue address. Police found the man had an outstanding warrant and arrested him. Police notified animal control.
