Alaska Bureau of Highway Patrol Troopers at 9:34 p.m. went to a one-car crash near Mile 126 Sterling Highway. Troopers said a 26-year-old Homer woman driving a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban hit a moose when it ran in front of her car. The car had minor damage and the woman was not injured.
Alaska State Troopers at 6:10 p.m. went to a disturbance at a Ninilchik home near Mile 142 Sterling Highway. Troopers said a 48-year-old woman was drunk and assaulted a family member and damaged property. Troopers arrested the woman.
Troopers at 10:06 p.m. stopped a 33-year-old woman on Eagle Place in Homer for an equipment violation. They arrested her for DUI.
Troopers at 9:45 p.m. went to a disturbance at a home near Ninilchik. Troopers said a 34-year-old man was very drunk and belligerent. Troopers warned the man for disorderly conduct and advised him to follow orders. They arrested him when he refused to comply with orders.
Troopers at 9:55 p.m. and Homer Police went to a home near Mile 7 East End Road for a disturbance. Troopers said a 25-year-old Homer woman assaulted a family member with a knife and that she was very drunk and possessed a controlled substance. Troopers took her to South Peninsula Hospital for observation and medical clearance before arresting her and taking her to the Homer Jail.
