Firefighters and emergency medical technicians went to two medical calls.

 

Homer Fire

The Homer Volunteer Fire Department recommends that with the change in Daylight Saving Time last week, it’s also time to change batteries on smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

Oct. 28-Nov. 3

Firefighters and emergency medical technicians went to 12 medical calls and three fire calls.

Oct. 28

Firefighters went to a chimney fire at an East End Road home. Firefighters checked the fire and determined it was confined to the chimney.

Nov. 3

Firefighters went to a report of gas at the intersection of Ocean Drive and FAA Road. Nothing was found.
