June 20

A caller at 2:50 p.m. reported littering near Mile 169.2 Sterling Highway.

June 21

A woman at 9:36 a.m. reported her teenage son took the family car without permission after a dispute. She asked police to be on the lookout. The mother later reported the car had been returned. Police spoke with the subjects.

A man at 1:48 p.m. reported the theft of an iPad.

A South Peninsula Hospital employee at 2:40 p.m. asked for police assistance with an unruly patient in the emergency room. Police responded.

Several callers at 1:58 p.m. reported two loose dogs attacking a cow moose and two calves in the Ben Walters Lane area. Police responded and took the dogs to the animal shelter.

A caller at 4:30 p.m. reported a dispute with a Fairview Avenue neighbor. Police responded and issued trespass notices to two men.

A caller at 7:20 p.m. reported young people at Bishop’s Beach shooting off fireworks and having an unsafe campfire.

June 22

Police at 12:01 a.m. stopped a 25-year-old woman driving on the Sterling Highway and issued her a summons for not having car insurance.

Police at 12:09 a.m. contacted a 52-year-old man driving on Main Street and arrested him for driving while license revoked, not having an ignition interlock device and violating conditions of release.

A caller at 3:05 a.m. reported excessive noise at a Spit campground. Police contacted the subjects and they agreed to keep the noise down.

A person at 4:10 a.m. made a 911 call of an assault on Pioneer Avenue. The victim was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

A woman at 12:52 p.m. reported that earlier in the day a man walked up to her Early Spring Street porch, stood for a minute without knocking, went back to his car and drove away.

A caller at 1:24 p.m. reported people driving all-terrain vehicles in a restricted area of Bishop’s Beach.

Multiple callers at 4:59 p.m. reported a hit-and-run crash on Pioneer Avenue.

A caller at 7:47 p.m. asked for police advice regarding a civil issue and possible theft of property.

A woman at 10:05 p.m. reported a theft in the Main Street area. Police arrested a 21-year-old man for third-degree theft.

Police at 10:40 p.m. contacted a 23-year-old man and arrested him for driving while license revoked.

A woman at 11:15 p.m. reported possible child neglect. Police advised the woman of her options.

A person at 11:41 p.m. made a 911 call of an assault at a Mountain View Drive home. Police responded and arrested a boy on two counts of assault.

June 23

Multiple people at 8:56 a.m. made 911 calls of a man lying on the sidewalk in the Baycrest Hill area. While police were enroute, a woman called and said she was with the man and that he had been resting and was up and moving.

A caller at 9:10 a.m. reported two bicycles stolen the night before from a Spit campground.

A person at 9:51 a.m. made a 911 call of a man standing in the middle of the Sterling Highway near Mile 169 and yelling. Police responded. The man was OK.

A woman at 3:34 p.m. reported a possible car fire on the Sterling Highway. Police responded. All was OK.

A caller at 4:16 p.m. reported 9-week-old puppies were neglected and locked in an outhouse without food at a Glen View Avenue address. Police did a welfare check on the puppies and removed them into the care of the animal shelter.

Police at 10:29 p.m. stopped a driver for speeding on East End Road. The driver was on the ways to the hospital for a medical issue.

June 24

A caller at 12:43 a.m. asked police to issue a trespass notice to a person from a Pioneer Avenue address. Police responded.

A person at 1:10 a.m. made a 911 call that a subject made suicidal statements. Police took the subject into protective custody.

A man at 10:03 a.m. made a 911 call that mail boxes had been vandalized and mail scattered along Highland Drive.

A man at 10:20 a.m. reported the theft of his iPhone from a hotel room the morning before. At 10:59 a.m. a man returned the missing iPhone to police.

A person at 1:19 p.m. made a 911 call of a physical dispute at a Sterling Highway parking lot. Police responded and determined it was mutual combat and did not rise to the level of a crime.

A man at 2:51 p.m. reported suspicious activity possibly related to an earlier cooler theft.

A man at 3:41 p.m. reported the theft of a bicycle at a Kachemak Drive address.

A man at 7:02 p.m. reported he had a “gut feeling” someone had been in his Latham Lane home while he was out.

A caller at 8:54 p.m. reported gunshots fired in the Felix Circle area. Police responded.

Police at 10:30 p.m. arrested a 24-year-old man on an outstanding warrant at an East End Road address.

A woman at 11:41 p.m. reported an elderly woman with a walker yelling for someone outside a Main Street apartment building. Police responded.

June 25

A woman at 10:26 a.m. reported a horse wandered into her Bell Avenue yard.

A woman at 10:46 a.m. reported vandalism at a Spit Road home.

A man at 11:03 a.m. reported the theft of a bicycle and possible tampering of a vehicle at a Lakeside Drive address.

A woman at 1:25 p.m. reported an attempt of fraud.

A person at 5:11 p.m. made a 911 call of an assault at Bunnell Avenue address. Police responded and arrested a 44-year-old man for domestic violence assault.

A caller at 5:26 p.m. reported no city water on East Hill Road. Police advised Public Works.

A caller at 9:08 p.m. reported a man lying on the ground at Bishop’s Beach. Police responded and found the man was OK.

Police at 10:18 p.m. discovered vehicles had been tampered with that were parked in longterm parking on Kachemak Drive.

A man at 10:25 p.m. reported he suspects an employee is stealing customers’ credit card information and shopping online.

June 26

A caller at 12:22 a.m. reported water gushing from a hydrant on East End Road. Police notified Public Works.

A woman at 3:44 a.m. reported being locked out of a Lake Street home and a possible theft. Police responded.

A person at 3:52 a.m. made a “report every dangerous driver immediately” complaint of a driver on the Spit Road. Police stopped the suspect and arrested a 21-year-old man for driving under the influence and access of a drunken person to licenses premises.

A caller at 12:46 p.m. reported a moose and calves possibly being cornered by tourists on Kachemak Drive.

A caller at 2 p.m. reported an open water hydrant on East End Road near East Hill Road. All was OK — lines were being flushed.

A caller at 3:44 p.m. reported a car parked close to the water at Bishop’s Beach.

A man at 6:11 p.m. reported the theft of a bicycle from a Fairview Avenue address.

June 27

Police at 12:22 a.m. contacted a 23-year-old woman driving near Mile 1 East End Road and issued her a summons for driving while license suspended.

A woman at 9:21 a.m. reported items missing from a Grubstake Avenue home.

A woman at 11:48 a.m. reported unauthorized use of her credit card.

A man at 1:19 p.m. reported a hit-and-run near Mile 169 Sterling Highway. Police responded.

A woman at 1:44 p.m. reported cars parked in the road near the intersection of Bunnell Avenue and Beluga Place and causing a traffic hazard. Police responded and issued parking warnings.

A caller at 8:42 p.m. reported a moose at the base of the Spit,

A woman at 9:10 p.m. reported a person driving a go-cart on the sidewalk and roadway on Bartlett Street.

Police at 9:10 p.m. issued a traffic warning to a driver who stopped in the middle of the Spit Road.

June 28

Police at 1:01 p.m. warned a person for driving with headphones.

A man at 6:45 p.m. reported a person refused to leave a Hillfair Court home. Police responded and gave the person a ride to another home.

A man at 7:58 p.m. reported finding travel bags outside a Spit Road business.

Police at 10:53 p.m. stopped a 21-year-old woman driving on Pioneer Avenue and arrested her for DUI.

A man at 11:33 p.m. made a 911 that he had been assaulted at a Fairview Avenue address. Police responded and arrested a 25-year-old man for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.
