Alaska State Troopers at approximately 1:05 p.m. responded to a residence off Fishhook Road in Ninilchik for a reported medical emergency. Ninilchik Emergency Services and troopers discovered Teela R. Clegg, 65, of Anchor Point was not breathing and was unresponsive. Clegg was declared deceased at the scene. Foul play is not suspected.
Alaska State Troopers at 3:12 p.m. received a call from Soldotna resident reporting someone was stealing from a commercial property. Troopers responded and located Jardo Vorasicky, 66, of Anchor Point on the property. Investigation revealed Vorasicky and a possible accomplice were taking insulation from the property. Vorasicky was arrested for second-degree theft and first-degree criminal trespass and taken to Wildwood Correction Facility. The investigation is ongoing. Alaska State Troopers at approximately 4:49 p.m. conducted a traffic stop on a white in color Ford pickup near mile 123 of the Sterling Highway on a moving violation. The driver was Shad J. Sizemore, 27, of Ninilchik. Sizemore was issued a citation for speeding and a summons to appear in court at a later date.
Alaska State Troopers at 9:28 a.m. responded to a domestic disturbance in Anchor Point. Michael S. Smith, 57, was threatening an individual with a firearm and under the influence of alcoholic beverages while he had firearms on his person. Smith was arrested and taken to Homer Jail.
Alaska State Troopers at 11:45 p.m. contacted Stephen Bernhardt, 51, of Anchor Point on a traffic stop. Bernhardt was arrested for driving under the influence and taken to Homer Jail.
Alaska State Troopers at about 6:15 p.m. contacted Nikita Konovalov, 22, of Anchor Point on a traffic stop. Konovalov was operating a motor vehicle while his privilege to drive was suspended. He was issued a misdemeanor citation to appear in court.
Alaska State Troopers at 10:22 p.m. contacted Timothy Eberle, 59, of Homer during a traffic stop in Homer. Eberle was arrested for driving under the influence and taken to Homer Jail
Alaska State Troopers at 8:15 p.m. received a Report Every Drunk Drive Immediately report in Anchor Point. Troopers contacted Nick L. Nelson, 47, of Anchor Point on a traffic stop. Investigation revealed Nelson was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence and that Nelson’s privilege to drive had been revoked. He was arrested and taken to the Homer Jail.
