Oct. 23
A West Homer Elementary School custodian at 9:59 a.m. reported damage to lawns.
A caller at 10:09 a.m. reported neighbor’s use of his electrical power caused damage.
A caller at 10:25 a.m. reported a trailer taken from a lot where it was posted for sale.
An out-of-state caller at 10:39 a.m. requested a welfare check on an adult daughter. Officer discovered the daughter had left the state.
An individual at 1 p.m. reported a vehicle “keyed” while parked at a local business.
A 911 caller at 1:36 p.m. reported vehicles in a protected area of Bishop’s Beach.
An individual at 1:45 p.m. brought in a used needle found near a children’s park.
A 911 caller at 2:17 p.m. reported another male threatening him.
Mental Health at 2:48 p.m. requested assistance locating an individual for mandatory evaluation.
A caller at 2:50 p.m. reported a motor vehicle accident in a local parking lot. There were no injuries.
A caller at 6:13 p.m. reported her vehicle not returned from an individual who used it and is a potential buyer.
A driver at 9:39 p.m. was summonsed for no liability insurance.
Oct. 24
An officer at 3 a.m. conducted a security check of local parks.
A driver at 3:11 a.m. was warned for failure to dim headlights.
An officer at 3:12 a.m. contacted a suspicious vehicle.
A caller at 7:59 a.m. reported a driver passing in  a school zone and into oncoming traffic.
An individual at 8:45 a.m. requested a check on a neighbor.
A caller at 9:17 a.m. reported a domestic dispute at a local restaurant.
A Homer High School student at 11:04 a.m. left campus without permission.
An officer at 6:57 p.m. served a stalking order.
A driver at 9:08 p.m. was warned for failure to illuminate.
Oct. 25
Alaska State Troopers at 12:25 a.m. reported a caller stating a small car with no license plate was driving 40 mph and swerving on the roadway.
A caller at 3:16 a.m. reported someone stole her car from her driveway.
A caller at 9:35 a.m. reported damage to a work vehicle during the night while parked at a local business.
A 911 call at 10:32 a.m. was abandoned. An officer responded and all was OK.
A 911 line at 10:33 p.m. was left open.  Contacted revealed all was OK.
Homer High School at 12:09 p.m. reported two students with marijuana on school grounds. Students were charged with misconduct involving a controlled substance, fourth degree.  
A caller at 1:10 p.m. reported a male threatening to kill him. The individual was served with a hearing notice on a protective order.
A parent at 1:39 p.m. phoned 911 to report a problem with a juvenile son.
A caller at 1:52 p.m. reported a reckless driver.
Homer High School at 1:54 p.m. reported a individual left the school ground without permission after being the subject of a locker search.
A caller at 2:24 p.m. reported barking dogs in his neighborhood.
A 911 caller at 4:39 p.m. reported two women fighting in the parking lot of a local business.
Officers at 4:43 p.m. responded to several 911 hang-up calls form a residence. A child was playing with the phone.
A caller at 5:44 p.m. reported harassing phone calls.
Officers at 9:43 p.m. assisted the Homer Volunteer Fire Department on a medical call.
Oct. 26
A caller at 12:15 a.m. reported a disturbance at a neighboring residence.
A caller at 1:04 a.m. reported two intoxicated men outside a local health establishment and requested a welfare check.
An individual at 8:30 a.m. requested home security advice.
An individual at 9:20 a.m. brought a found red backpack to the police station. An officer returned it to the owner.
A caller at 10:11 a.m. reported theft from a storage area after the fact.
A caller at 12:26 p.m. reported a juvenile violating driver’s license privileges.
An individual at 3:54 p.m. brought a lost item to the police station.
A 911 line at 4 p.m. was left open.
A 911 call from a cell phone at 5:33 p.m. was abandoned
A 911 call from a local business at 6:08 p.m. was abandoned. Employees reported a phone upgrade was in progress.
Police at 7:05 p.m. responded to an audible alarm at a local business.
A caller at 10:35 p.m. reported a possible drunk driver. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated. A second subject was arrested for indecent exposure.
Oct. 27
A individual at 1:07 a.m. was arrested for misconduct involving a controlled substance, fifth degree.
An officer at 11:45 a.m. verified correction of a headlight citation.
A caller at 12:16 p.m. reported a wallet stolen from her. The caller later reported the wallet was found and had not been stolen.
A caller at 2 p.m. reported a stolen dog.
A caller at 4:35 p.m. reported a possible missing vehicle.
A caller at 5:57 p.m. reported a suspicious individual.
Multiple callers at 6:43 p.m. reported a man causing disturbance in the neighborhood. The individual was transported to the hospital and then housed at the Homer Police Department for protective custody.
A driver at 10:12 p.m. was given a warning for driving while intoxicated.
A driver at 10:46 p.m. was warned for failure to dim lights.
Oct. 28
An individual at 12:02 a.m. was arrested for trespassing at a local establishment.
A driver at 12:51 a.m. was warned for failure to stop at a stop sign.
A driver at 1:58 a.m. was arrested for driving while intoxicated and refusal to provide a breath sample.
A caller at 5:06 a.m. reported her cell phone was missing while at a local business.
A neighbor at 1:39 p.m. reported hearing a dispute in progress. Officers transported an individual to South Peninsula Hospital for treatment of an injury. Officers are on the look out for suspects in an assault.
Alaska State Troopers at 3:17 p.m. requested assistance for a disturbance.
A caller at 3:54 p.m. reported a vehicle traveling extremely fast in a residential area.
A caller at 4:11 p.m. reported observing drug paraphernalia near a roadway.
A driver at 6:45 p.m. was warned for speeding.
An officer at 6:48 p.m. contacted a vehicle with no taillights. Vehicle was grounded for the night.
A driver at 9:55 p.m. was warned for erratic driving.
An officer at 10:28 p.m. assisted the Alaska State Troopers with a traffic stop.
A caller at 10:59 p.m. requested a welfare check on an intoxicated man recently in a local business. The individual was arrested for driving while intoxicated and taken to the Homer Jail.
Oct. 29
An officer at 1:23 a.m. conducted a security check of a local school.
A driver at 3:23 a.m. was warned for speed.
An individual at 10:05 a.m. requested information regarding keys to his vehicle and a trespass advisement.
A caller at 9:33 a.m. reported a white truck pulling a trailer that was spilling trash along the roadway with an unsecured load.
A local business at 10 a.m. reported a possible shoplifter in the store.
A 911 line at 10:40 a.m. was left open. A check revealed all was OK.
A 911 line at 10:25 a.m. was open.
A caller at 3:11 p.m. requested a welfare check.
An officer at 5:33 p.m. contacted a driver of farm equipment and warned the driver to yield to five or more vehicles behind and to attach a slow-moving-equipment sign.
A caller at 6:03 p.m. reported a possible shoplifter.
A 911 caller at 10:10 p.m. reported a relative was threatening to burn property.
Oct. 30
A 911 caller at 2:23 a.m. reported theft after the fact.
