Swim and dive attend regions in Kodiak on Oct. 27-29.

Volleyball travels to play Houston on Oct. 28 and Redington on Oct. 29.

Kachemak Swim Club

Kings swim team compete at home for an intra-squad meet on Oct. 29. The annual Turkey Time meet is coming up on Nov. 18-19 as well.

Volleyball

• The Mariner volleyball team finished third in the consolation portion of the Bronze Bracket of the Dimond-Service Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 22 in Anchorage. The Mariners lost 25-20 and 25-23 to Eagle River and 25-14 and 25-15 to Grace Christian.

• The teams were placed in Saturday’s championship brackets based on Friday pool play. Homer was 0-8 in Pool D. The Mariners lost to West Valley 25-13 and 25-7, lost to Juneau 25-12 and 25-20, lost to Colony 25-19 and 25-20, and lost to Chugiak 25-18 and 25-6.

Wrestling

• The Homer wrestling team won the Homer Round Robin Rumble on Saturday, Oct. 22. The Mariners scored 238 points, with Houston coming in second with 134 points and Soldotna in third with 124 points. Voznesenka came in seventh.

• Eleven KSC swimmers — Jamen Anderson, Kaylin Anderson, Ella Blanton-Yourkowski, Wilem Hakala, Bristol Johnson, Brianna Miller, Hartley Miller, Carly Nelson, Luke Nelson, Luke Nollar and Hazel Pearson — competed at the Harvest Meet hosted by Chugiak Aquatics Club at the Bartlett High School pool on Oct. 21-22.

• Jamen Anderson, Ella Blanton-Yourkowski, Hartley Miller, Carly Nelson, Luke Nelson and Hazel Pearson all secured top ten times for the Kings.
