Fashion show big success

We held our very first Senior Fashion Show here at Homer Senior Citizens Inc. in November and it was a huge success. We had amazing models and an enthusiastic crowd to help keep the energy up all night. We would like to say thank you for the amazing support we had from the community for this event; to all the businesses who so generously donated door prizes which helped make the evening exciting; Homer’s Jeans, Ulmer’s, North Wind Home Collection, Two Sisters Bakery, Wild Roots Salon, Salty Dog, Legends, Damselfly Boutique, Upstairs Boutique, Homer Inn and Day Spa and Spa Envy.

We also would like to thank Nelton Palma from The Alibi for not only donating lights but donating his time to come do the lights for the fashion show, which made it feel very authentic; not to forget Emily Sloth who captured our night by donating her time and photography skills to take pictures during the night.

I am thankful for my activities staff who transformed our dining room into a runway, and successfully carried out this wonderful event. To sum it up: It wouldn’t have been possible without all the models and everyone who came to enjoy Senior Fashion Show. Get your outfits ready for next year.
