Miller best person for Senate seat

As I look over the condition of our beloved country, and the situation we find ourselves in — under both Republican and Democratic leadership — I am aghast at where our national leadership has taken us, and what we, the people, have allowed.

As I attempt to evaluate what needs to be done to remedy the brokenness I see in our society as a result of our political leaders, I am convinced it will take courageous action beyond the ordinary to reverse this egregious situation, and to move us beyond the “status quo.” If we keep electing/re-electing officials who promise to accomplish new things with the same old plans, methods and platitudes — nothing of real substance will be accomplished. It will take a fundamental and radical transformation from the norm to get us back to where we were and where we ought to be — well before the most recent Republican and Democratic political leadership has taken us.

The greatest leader this world ever knew said it this way, “… no one puts new wine into old wineskins, otherwise the wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost, and the skins as well …’ (Mk 2:22). Thinking of our national leadership I am convinced it will take a fundamental transformation of current tyrannical bureaucracies and policies — and new leaders, new ideals and a new direction. We cannot keep electing people to office that will simply be liberal this or conservative that. We need men/women who will help us as a nation to take a radical aboutface — back to those ideals, values and principles that reinstill the principles of our founding fathers and the framers of our U.S. Constitution.

Of the three men running for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate, I believe Joe Miller is that man.
