Sixth-grade artists say thanks

We would like to thank Ruby Haigh and SBS for their support of our artistic endeavors. Ruby Haigh donated the materials needed to create some amazing clay salmon and worked with us every Friday from October to March. We appreciate her time she has given to help our project be successful. We  couldn’t have done it without her.

Our project was being displayed in SBS for Art Jubilee in April. We would like to thank them for letting us show off our art to the town. It was hard work. We used a whole wall to display our salmon, and SBS agreed to it without objection.

West Homer Elementary is having an art show May 2 from 5-7 p.m. You’re all invited to come on by to see the phenomenal art we created.
