Assistive Technology of Alaska returns to Homer Oct. 31

Margaret Cisco of Assistive Technology of Alaska will be coming back to Homer Oct. 31 and is scheduling appointments with people who experience vision and-or hearing loss and will be demonstrating assistive equipment that could make their everyday life easier.

Cisco’s appointments will be at the Independent Living Center, 265 E. Pioneer Ave, Suite 201. There is a lift for those who may have difficulty with stairs. Cisco will spend time with individuals showing them what assistive technology might be available to them and determining whether there are programs to help them obtain those devices.
