Homer Police last Saturday arrested an Anchorage man suspected of stealing liquor from Safeway and Save-U-More after he returned to Save-U-More and allegedly put his arm around a woman and tried to kiss her. Police charged William Helenberg, 38, with harassment and two counts of fourth-degree theft. 

Police reviewed video footage from Save-U-More and identified a man in the video as Helenberg from previous contacts. When the woman reported the incident, police responded and saw Helenberg with two other men. Officers caught Helenberg after a brief chase.
