Santa plans to visit Ohlson Mountain

Giving his reindeer a break before their busy Christmas night flight around the world, Santa has partnered with Pathfinder Aviation to fly to Todd and Mary Kate Green’s home at 1.5 Mile Ohlson Mountain Road on Dec. 21, and the public is invited.

“Santa will fly in at 1 p.m. and there will be a chance for each kid to sit with Santa for a picture and receive a gift,” said Mary Kate Green. “A photographer is provided, along with two of Santa’s helpers to assist Santa with kids, pictures and handing out the gifts.”

Each person is asked to bring a dish to share and one wrapped gift per child that they bring.

“So, if you’re bringing three boys aged 9, then bring three wrapped boys’ gifts labeled ‘boy age 9,’” said Green. “If you are unable to provide a gift for your child, a gift will be provided, so you may share in the fun. Be early to get your gifts into the bags.”

Santa’s helicopter flight is being donated by Mike and Mary Fell and Pathfinder Aviation. Extra gifts have been donated by Down East Saloon.

“Bring a sled, a smile and lots of holiday cheer,” said Green.

The Green home will be open from noon-4 p.m. No profanity or firearms are allowed on the property.
