The Homer Auxiliary Gift Shop has expanded into a new space near South Peninsula Hospital’s main entrance, to the right of registration. The shop is open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday and is staffed by auxiliary volunteers. All proceeds benefit the hospital. Open year-round, shoppers can find many low-priced, unique items, with a special inventory in stock with the holiday season. Linda Partridge is the gift shop manager. The new shop was designed by auxiliary members Partridge and Jan Goehringer. The shop takes the place of space designed for vending and waiting room, all of which has been redistributed throughout the hospital. The additional space will better meet the needs of shoppers and allow for increased fundraising, according to a press release from the hospital.
