Mariner Park Slough reflects the autumn palette of trees near Lighthouse Village at the base of the Homer Spit. Extreme high tides have flooded the slough.

Homer might not have the brilliant reds of New England maple trees, but the golds and yellows of birches and cottonwood trees provide equally glorious fall colors.
