Wells Fargo names new Homer store manager; chamber mixer planned for Thursday at store

Wells Fargo will host the next Homer Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center mixer. It will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the Wells Fargo store, 88 Sterling Highway. The public is invited. 

The mixer will be an opportunity to meet Chris Shockley, who has been named  manager of the Wells Fargo Homer store. Shockley replaces Tyler Davis who now serves as a business relationship manager based in Kenai.

Most recently, Shockley served as Wells Fargo’s Kotzebue store manager. He has been with the company for six years, serving as a teller, personal banker, service manager and store manager. While in Kotzebue, Shockley served in the community as an economic development commission member and Ducks Unlimited board treasurer. Shockley is originally from Skagway, and he attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks and Northern Arizona University. 

Wells Fargo has 900 team members in Alaska who serve customers through a network of 60 banking, mortgage, insurance and investment offices, 120 ATMs and online.
