The Kachemak Bay Water Trail Steering Committee will hold open house meetings Nov. 13-16. The purpose of the meetings is to provide an opportunity for organizations, agencies and the general public to look at maps and suggest locations around Kachemak Bay suitable as “Water Trail Sites.”
Participants also will be asked to identify sensitive areas that should not be considered for a water trail site for wildlife, bird, plant or cultural concerns. Recommendations for seasonal closures especially related to wildlife are being sought.
The meetings are as follows:

Nov. 14: Seldovia Community Building.
