Hearing continued until Nov. 21

An Oct. 25 preliminary hearing for Anthony Resetarits, 20, and Joseph Resetarits, 18, each charged with sexual assault following a Sept. 8 East End Road teen drinking party, has been continued until Nov. 21, to allow the Alaska State Troopers time to complete reports in the case.
The brothers also were in court Tuesday.
An additional third-party custodian was approved for Anthony Resetarits to ensure 24-hour custody while a previously court-approved third-party custodian travels out of town for work.
The court also approved a request for Joseph Resetarits to travel out of state to work with his father, Doug Resetarits, in the family business in South Carolina, provided Joseph Resetarits obtains an unsecured bond for $5,000, signs a waiver of extradition and provides the court with a copy of a round-trip ticket.
A condition that the brothers have no contact with one another also was amended by the judge. They may communicate with each other provided each of their attorneys is present.
