Endurance hiker and author Jennifer Pharr Davis speaks about her hikes and her book, “Called Again,” at 6 p.m. Sept. 11 at the Homer Public Library. The 2012 National Geographic Adventurer of the Year, in 2011 Davis hiked the 2,181-mile Appalachian Trail in 46 days becoming the fastest person to hike the trail and the first woman to ever set the mark.
